Me Me wrote: I just began hosting my web site with http://www.nearlyfreespeech.net. My school district is behind a NAT gateway, which gives all of my student’s laptops at school the same IP address. My students use about 30 laptops for access to my web site at a time, but http://www.nearlyfreespeech.net (I believe) only allows 10 simultaneous connections from one IP address at a time (see http://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/help/access_denied to see what I’m talking about).
I’ve tried to research and see if there are other inexpensive hosts like Nearly Free Speech that will function correctly with my teaching web site and for access from what “appears” to be a single IP address, when in reality my students are all using different laptops.
Does anyone know of a good, inexpensive host (I’m a teacher, so I obviously don’t have a ton of $) that I can host my site with and that will help it to function with multiple connections from a NAT gateway. FYI: it will need php 5 (ideally) for my Wordpress blog.
For people posting answers, I’m looking for one of the following answers:
1). A way around the current NAT problem that would allow me to stay with Nearly Free Speech.
2). Another host that does not have the NAT access limitation (this is extremely important). The host also has to be relatively inexpensive (it only has to host one small WordPress web site) with php.
