Also, if I have a web server (IIS) on Windows 2003 Standard Server and it’s not belong to a domain (e.g. mydomain), can I enable the feature so that only users from mydomain can access it?

I am trying to connect to my home PC from office using remote desktop. I am unable to do so and I am getting “the unable to connect” error message. Here is more information:
a) I have a wireless home network with a firewall on the router.
b) When I try to connect using remote desktop with a local IP address, it works just fine. i.e., when both host and client are on the home network, and if I access the host with a local IP (192.x.x.x address), it works.

Is this problem related to firewall restricting inbound access requests?

When I check my IP address on the internet, it is the same for the remote desktop host PC and client PC since they are on the same network. How do I configure my home network to let this remote desktop request to come in? And how do I make sure that this request goes to the right PC (I have multiple PCs)

I’m doing directory submissions for my site and i’m wondering why i’m getting fewer backlinks from Google & MSN than Yahoo & Alta Vista. What could be the factors? Do i need to optimize my site or resubmit to Google & MSN?

Would love to hear from companies that have used SEO’s and not the SEO’s themselves. My organic listings are pretty good… looking for someone to manage CPC marketing effort on multiple sites.

I have a content website, and the content is very good. I have been doing SEO on my site for four months. I have had a one-way backlink request success rate of almost 20%, and reciprocal link request success rate of almost 65%, which I think is very good.

However, I want to spend the little time I get off my university on improving my site, rather than SEO. If I hire someone, or some firm to do SEO on my site, how much should I pay? Will adSense or something similar be able to cover the costs?

By quality I mean links that search engines agree them to be good links, too. I know there are many services out there which claim to be able to deliver tens of thousands of backlinks for a small compensation, but there are almost as many sites that advice against using those services. I tend to believe the latter. I am starting a serious, heavy in content, web site in a few weeks, so I would appreciate any serious advice.
